The judging committee of the Kyoto Global Design Awards is made up of top experts in each field, including design, art and culture, and fashion. Entries are reviewed from every angle with an emphasis on lifestyle and human nature. Judges look for designs that influence an entire field and lead to new creative or business collaboration possibilities.
Every Kyoto Global Design Awards laureates underwent an extensive committee review process. Winners are chosen through a series of reviews and assessments that look at their trend-setting ability and influence from various angles.
