RUPU HOUSE
'RUPU' means 'empty space in the middle' in Japanese. RUPU house is a house for a small family, which the owner wanted it to look as neat and simple as possible.
The design intends to be only simplest geometric shapes, a triangular-on-square design, and white materials for almost all of the exterior. The triangular mass is also reflected in the interior space, the slanted ceiling cut to the roof angle creates a unique space.
The front part of the house, which is connected to the road, is quite closed for privacy, and the back part opens to the garden.
