Albany, WRGB — The Times Union is now accepting entries for the 4th annual TU Home Design Contest.

Leigh Hornbeck is the editor of SPACES in the Times Union. She says across the Capital Region, homeowners and renters alike have been putting effort and money into their homes as the pandemic settled in for a 10-month-and-counting stay. If you stopped having friends over, here's a chance to show those spaces off: the Fourth Annual Times Union Home Design Contest.

She says they are looking for entries in five categories: kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and outdoor space.

The contest is open to professional designers and amateur decorators alike. Designers may submit one entry per room, so up to five entries as long as they are for different categories. Submit two high-resolution images of each room. The homes must be in the Capital Region, which for this contest include Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, Washington, Fulton or Columbia counties.
