Momkai united the 1.2M members that make up the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB); brought together the European community of researchers with the Embassy of Good Science; and designed initiatives from scratch, like Japanese startup Renews and cancer institute Oncode.
Momkai is a co-founder of De Correspondent, designing an ad-free, member-funded journalism platform for unbreaking news from the ground up. Helping to create two crowdfunding campaigns, which reached record-amounts of members in 2013 and 2018.
Momkai works for mission-driven organisations, institutions such as the Imperial College London and New York University, and impactful companies like VanMoof, Swapfiets and Adyen.
Team members work from the philosophy of calm. These principles underpin all designs and cultivate calm, so that only the content can drive you to distraction. Momkai introduced this design philosophy at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam in 2016.
