Höweler + Yoon
Höweler + Yoon is a design-driven architecture and urbanism practice whose work is deeply informed by social and cultural context. Over the last 18 years, we have built a reputation for work that is formally and technologically innovative, socially engaged, and conceptually rigorous.
All along, they have sought to expand the scope of design beyond disciplinary boundaries, have benefited from collaborations with experts in numerous fields, and have taken a hands-on approach to design and implementation. This has allowed them to do unprecedented work in atypical fields: interactive landscapes, submersible structures, stone vaulting, and media projects.
